Another Wild Hare is a boutique event planning company based in New York City, Washington DC and Luray, VA but we travel worldwide to do events, conferences and weddings. We focus on the small details to make an event truly breathtaking.

 

We have planned intimate affairs for 50 guests, as well as elaborate events for 800. Regardless of the size of the budget, when working with a couple or business, it is our goal to make sure that our clients are staying on budget, and creating an event that matches their desired outcome. Our range is infinite and creativity limitless. We traditionally start working with clients in the planning process; however, we can step in as soon as the day before an event to help.

 

The company was started in 2012 by Leah Pence while she was in graduate school at Columbia University. Within the first year, the company started to gain recognition and was featured in the New York Times. This lead to doing several socialites and celebrity events and weddings. In 2014, she was asked by The Knot to design their largest bi-annual trade show,  The Knot’s International Bridal Couture Show, a 30,000 sq foot fashion trade show, in New York City. Another Wild Hare produced this event for four seasons until 2016. In 2018, Another Wild Hare was named as one of the top event planners in New York City by New York Wedding magazine. In 2019, Leah Pence and Another Wild Hare were mentioned in The New York Times and The Seattle Times.
